Stacks | RapidWeaver | ShopYes - again! You never really finish yoru site. Always room for improvement?
I have had a good time with the RapidCart plugin. It’s really great - and easy to use. Still use for some customers.
But I needed to buy myself some time handling the incomming orders - and especially the stacks updates.
I believe this feature is comming to RapidCart….
So I’ve impelemented CartLoom - to handle things for me. And it’s been really easy - so far.
Kind of a standard shop solution among both Stack and Theme developers.

Cool new GridBoard stack for Stacks 2 ReleaseMight not look like a revolution… but it’s got some hard to achieve functionality behind the scene… like equal height for all columns.
Try searching for equal columns in google… you’ll see why. CSS ain’t perfect - but with a little help from good oooold HTML… hurra :)
RapidWeaver and the Stacks 2 by YourHead software makes Rapid Layout much easier.

Stacks | RapidWeaverJust finished my relayout of DenFlinkeGrafiker… well - you kind of never finish, do ya?
I love Blueballs FreeStack theme and stack - the ultimate webdesign freedom for RapidWeaver and stacks. I use it for many of the sites I build… but I fell in love with Nick Cates H Q theme with a very slick menu. No menu to occupy the space I need to present the content, but still only one click away. Messed a little with the CSS to make it look the way I wanted.
I knew the old layout wouldn’t last… the number of stacks and stacks I have in mind was bound to finally outgrow the structure of the old site. My fault… bad planning you migt say - but I really never intended to create that many stacks. I had a wish for a stack… no-one did it. So I pulled 3 days out of the calender, bought 5 liter Coca Cola and started from scratch. Really from scratch!
You know - between you and me - I have never really liked getting my hands dirty with html code and scripts. I like the way RapidWeaver works - right out of the box. I like the way Stacks by Yourhead works - right out of the box. But sometimes… when you really really want something - you gotta get your hands dirty. I did… and I actually like it.

Stacks | RapidWeaver | NewsStacks 1 was a little revolution for all us RapidWeavers. It changed everything… in all the websites I create today the Stacks plugin is my no. 1 choice for almost every page… when I sometimes try one of the other great plugins - I often find myself thinking… if only I could use this or that stack!
Stacks 2 has been long in the making. It’s here - and it’s great. We have already seen some of the potential of the new Stacks 2 API and we have seen a few new cool ‘Stacks 2 Only’ from some of the top stacks developers.
I have one wish for Stacks… in the future. Being able to change settings in one window and preview the changes instantly. But that’s not really a Stacks thing… it’s a RapidWeaver thing. That would be my main wish for RapidWeaver 6… the best weaver applications for the Mac. RapidWeaver by Realmac + Stacks by YourHead = one of the best and (important) fastes WebLayout applications for the best computer in the world - the Mac!
My name is DeFliGra. I’m a Rapid Stack’o’holic. I admit it.
